Fuse Board Upgrades
Assessment of current board, isolation of supply, removal of old fuse box, installation of new consumer unit with circuit breakers, connection of circuits, testing and certification.
When you need it. Old fuse boxes with rewireable fuses, repeated blown fuses, adding new circuits, or taking on a property with outdated electrics.

Socket & Switch Installation
Marking positions on walls, running cable through walls or along surfaces, fitting mounting boxes, wiring and testing new sockets or switches.

What is the difference between a fuse box and a circuit breaker board?
Fuse boxes contain rewireable fuses or cartridge fuses that must be replaced when blown. Circuit breaker boards have switches that trip when overloaded and can be reset. Breakers respond faster to faults and are safer.
Can I add more sockets by using extension leads permanently?
Extension leads are temporary solutions only. Permanent installation requires new circuits wired properly into the consumer unit to avoid overload, heat damage and fire risk. Proper sockets are cheaper and safer long-term.
What does PAT testing involve and why is it needed?
PAT tests portable appliances with electrical equipment to confirm they are electrically safe. Workplaces often need it for insurance and legal compliance. Testing checks for damage, faults and proper grounding.
Do I need planning permission to install an EV charger at home?
